Top Tips When Buying a Stairlift
Battery Back-Up
If the power should go out, you need to ensure your stairlift will still work, otherwise you could find yourself stranded in your own home.
Remote Control
Your stairlift should come with two remote controls, one at the base of the stairs and one at the top. This allows you to “call” the stairlift to your position.
Buy Back Option
Ensure the company will offer to buy-back your stairlift should you no longer need it. Prices paid for buy-backs will only be a small percentage of the full price but you should always ask the company for their policy on this.
